CHICAGO — A high school senior died after being shot Tuesday night in Morgan Park on the city’s South Side, and his father is left hoping for justice for his son.
Albert Winfield tells WGN-TV his son was Treyvon Winfield, a 19-year-old soon-to-be graduate of Morgan Park High School who was shot in his car not far from the Chicago Police Department’s 5th District station Tuesday night and died later at an area hospital.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has also confirmed the victim’s identification.
