After a chilly Saturday, temperatures will increase around Chicagoland on Sunday, all the way up to around 80 by Monday to begin the work week.
And along with that comes the potential for severe weather.
First, however, Sunday looks to be dry and sunny as high pressure reigns over the area. Early-morning temps were in the mid-40s, but they will increase to the upper 60s inland and around 60 lakeside as light southeast winds take over.
