3 Women Sexually Assaulted In String Of West Ridge Robberies, Home Invasions, Police Say

WEST RIDGE — Police are warning neighbors about a string of home invasions, robberies and sexual assaults of women on the Far North Side.

The Chicago Police Department issued a community alert Monday morning, connecting five incidents of robbery, burglary or sexual assault to the same man since December. In three of the incidents, the man sexually assaulted women whom he also robbed, police said.

The incidents are:

At 8:55 p.m. Friday in the 6100 block of North Campbell Avenue. The man, armed with a knife, robbed a woman as she was walking into her home. He also “committed unlawful sexual contact”
