Playwright Terry Guest’s 2019 Hit About Georgia Drag Queen Revived By The Story Theatre

EDGEWATER — What a difference six years makes. 

In 2019, when The Story Theatre’s “At the Wake of a Dead Drag Queen” made its world premiere, it was the first play ever written by Terry Guest, who also played the lead.

Now, as the show enjoys its first Chicago remount — running through May 18, again at Raven Theatre, 6157 N. Clark St. — its creator is in a much different place.
