Coroners identifies 54-year-old pedestrian killed in Waukegan crash

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (WGN) — Coroners in Lake County have identified a pedestrian fatally struck last Friday.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 54-year-old Jerry Jackson of Waukegan.

Just after 8 p.m. Friday, first responders in Waukegan arrived at Lewis Avenue and Harding Avenue for a report of a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. There, crews located the 54-year-old victim. He arrived at Vista Medical Center East, where he was pronounced dead.
