Could Patrick Schwarzenegger be the next ‘American Psycho’?

(NEXSTAR) — Could a real-life “Patrick” be taking up the role of Patrick Bateman, the titular character of Bret Easton Ellis’ controversial 1991 novel “American Psycho” and its 2000 film adaptation? Well, one Patrick is vying for the role, at least.

While updates on the forthcoming adaptation, set to be directed by Italian auteur Luca Guadagnino (“Challengers”), have been slow-moving, this week there was some chatter about who may or may not be suited to take up the role Christian Bale made iconic in Mary Lambert’s 2000 film.
