Logan Square Alderman, Neighbors Want Deadbolt Bar Temporarily Closed After Shooting

LOGAN SQUARE — Neighbors and a Logan Square alderman are calling for the temporary closure of a club after a recent shooting outside left a woman critically wounded.

At 1:20 a.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old woman was outside Deadbolt, 2412 N. Milwaukee Ave., when a man shot her in her abdomen, police said. The man fled.

A video of the shooting posted this week shows a group of people fighting on the sidewalk outside Deadbolt. The brawl continued into the street as bar security guards tried to break up the fight. Later, shots are heard on the video and a man is seen
