CHICAGO — Two men were shot while on a CTA bus on the Northwest Side late Sunday night.
A 40-year-old man was involved in a verbal altercation with the suspected shooter, another man, just after 11:45 p.m. in the 4800 block of West Belmont.
The shooter exited the bus, produced a handgun and fired several shots at the 40-year-old man who was still on the bus.
The man was shot in the abdomen and leg. He was transported to Masonic in fair condition.
