CHICAGO — Chicagoland is gearing up for Cinco de Mayo and one event taking place this weekend is sure to get hearts racing.
The Cinco de Miler 5-Mile Run returns on Saturday for the 15th year and it is taking runners on a lakeside journey on Chicago’s North Side.
The race kicks off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and participants will get exclusive swag and bottle opener finisher’s medal.

The route for the run is a USATF-certified 5-mile course that starts along Simmonds Drive next to Montrose
