WICKER PARK — The developer behind a plan to convert Wicker Park’s Lubinski Furniture building into dozens of apartments said Monday they are open to including existing art spaces in their redevelopment plans — although they offered no commitments.

Envoi Partners wants to redevelop the four-story building at 1542-1550 N. Milwaukee Ave., where for decades the Lubinski family has operated its furniture business. The developer has submitted three redevelopment proposals to Ald. Daniel La Spata’s (1st) office, which held a “first look” virtual meeting Monday night to share more details.
