BUCKTOWN — A beloved pizza restaurant that’s called Bucktown home for more than two decades — and was founded 54 years ago in Rogers Park — will close this summer.

My Pi Pizza, 2010 N. Damen Ave., will serve its final pie in June, owners announced Thursday. Li’L Guys Deli, which is attached to the business, will also close, according to its website.

My Pi has served up deep-dish pizzas to Bucktown neighbors since 2000. But its history goes back all the way to the early ’70s, when Larry Aronson founded the future chain on Sheridan Road.
