WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – President Donald Trump says immigration remains his top priority, as his administration continues to push forward with mass deportations despite mounting legal challenges and opposition from Democrats.
“We’re expelling these monsters from our country rapidly,” Trump said.
The deportations have drawn controversy, particularly over the administration’s decision to send migrants to a notorious prison in El Salvador, a move that has triggered a court battle.
“We’re having some judge problems. Everybody’s reading judges that don’t like, you know, killers, murderers being thrown out of the country. So I don’t know what their problem is,” Trump said.
