ROGERS PARK — A developer is pitching a six-story apartment building on a Rogers Park site that’s been largely vacant for years.
Sal Siraj, of Chicago Equity Partners, and Mike Maresso, of MC & Associates, a Chicago architectural firm, are asking Ald. Maria Hadden (49th) for a zoning change to allow them to build 81 apartments at 6929 N. Sheridan Road, they said at a community meeting Wednesday.
The developers are behind another proposed apartment building in Rogers Park for which Hadden ultimately denied a zoning change.
