After the House’s approval, Illinois now waits for the Senate’s vote on the Restaurant Reservation Anti-Piracy Act as California, Nevada, and Florida consider similar policies.
Illinois lawmakers took a step toward outlawing the sale of restaurant reservations on third-party sites earlier this week. On Monday, April 7, the House unanimously passed a bill that targeted Black Market reservation sales.
